I was just wondering what kind of letters people send out when they are requesting an autographed photo. Thanks~!

Mine change alot, but baisicly they say something to the jist of:
Dear Ms./Mr. "blank",
I have been a fan of yours for a long time. I first saw/heard/etc. of you in/when I heard/etc. "blank" I especialy like "blank" My favorite movie/show/song you are in is "blank" and I liked the part where "blank"
etc. etc. for the first paragraph
I realize you must be very busy, but I was wondering if you could please send an autograph, or if possible an autographed picture? It would mean alot to me if you could.
etc. etc. about how much I would apreciate it for the second paragraph
I hope to see you in another movie/listen to a new cd of yours/etc. soon.
Best Wishes, and good luck in all you do.
Signed...
Baisicly something like that, only much better planned, and with more actuall writting. And most of them are much better than that. That is just the most baisic "template" I try to go by when writting a letter. Compliments, ask for the autograph politly with lots of pleases and thank yous, and then a good wish at the end.
It works for me!

Hi onetreehill800
Usually I have a rough form I follow - along the lines of
Paragraph 1 - A quick introduction of myself and why I am writing to the celebrity
Paragraph 2 - What I like about their work
Paragraph 3 - I ask them to kindly personalise and/or autograph the photos I send them (I normally send out photos, but you could ask for one at this point)
Paragraph 4 - Thank them for their time, and wish them all the best
Don't forget to keep your letter fairly brief (not too long), interesting and make sure it sounds personalised (not a form letter).
Good luck!
