I have just decided to print a bunch of 6"x4.5" Photo's but I'm really not sure what would be best a gloss finish or Matt.
Im thinking Matt but not sure if Either one would really kill a photo.

Why not print in both finishes this time, that way you can choose which one you like for the future.

Re: Gloss or Matt Photo Prints?
i use matte cause the autographs stay on good that way. i have read that it is better for them to stay on and the finishes are not much different. the only difference is that glossy is a little shinier. hope your photos turn out awesome.

Yh I was thinking the auto's might smudge and was a little worried about that but I'm taking the advice to print both finishes and just decide later or even save one for the future. I, myself, use "soft-gloss" which is a mix between "gloss" and "matte". Works great!

That sounds very interesting I'll have to test a few different finishes.Münchausen wrote:I, myself, use "soft-gloss" which is a mix between "gloss" and "matte". Works great!
