How much postage?

How much postage should I include on my SASE? I'm mailing them inside the US only (for now.) I'm thinking maybe 4 stamps for the envelope TO the celebrity, and 4 on the one to come back to me? Do I have to go to the post office at all, or can I just drop it in the mail box? I will be including a picture inside for each attempt. Thanks!

It depends on how much it weighs and what size it is. If you can give me that I can be more specific.

Was just at the post office earlier. The lady told me I could just put 2 stamps on each envelope. I only had a letter and a picture though. It's about a dollar.
