UK postage question

Okay, I know there are several topics on this, but really I just need one specific answer. I am planning on sending some requests over to the UK, and I need to know how much UK postage to put on the envelopes so they'll come back.

It'll be 1-3 3 4x6 photos depending on the celeb, and I think a small yellow envelope.
Basically, what would be the best stamps to get, and how many should I put on the return envelope?
Thanks for any help!

UK to USA mail is done by weight, the prices are:
up to 10g: £0.88
up to 20g: £1.28
up to 40g: £1.88
I would recommend using 1st or 2nd class stamps, currently worth £0.60 and £0.50. These are like forever stamps and will retain value.
