I am new to this whole game of collecting so please bare with me...I learn fast. I live in the USA. I wish to write both Ian Mckellan and Patrick Stewart two of my favorite actors most popular for portraying Magneto and Charles Xavier in XMen.

My first question is: since they are both filming Days of Future Past would it be best if I sent my "letter/photo to be signed" to the Via-venue address or should I just play it safe and send it to their Primary addresses which they are well known for signing at?

My second question: is if I do send to the Via-venue which is in Canada according to this site which address is the correct one because Ive seen several on here?

My third question: Whether I send to Canada or the Primary address in the UK...since IRC's are no longer would it be fine to send the currency used in that country? Where can I purchase currency for either country....ebay? And about how much Canadian dollars or British Pounds are needed to suffice for a SASE, Thin Cardboard, Photo, and Letter?

Actually, it'll probably be easier if you just wait a few weeks. They will doing a Broadway play together soon so the postage will a lot cheaper than sending it to their UK or Canada addresses. :)

When I send anything to Canada I usually just paper clip $3 or so for them to get the postage. Haven't had any VV successes from Canada, so I can't say if that is actually going to work though, lol.

I sent to Ian McKellen via his U.K. address and got a reply within 2 months and he was filming at the time. He's very good to his fans and I've seen a lot of successes on here so I wouldn't hesitate to send to the U.K. for him.

As far as Patrick Stewart? I plan on sending to him via venue here at the end of the year. Hopefully I can catch him there! The only successes I've seen from the X-Men set are from Ian McKellen thus far.

Good luck to you!! :)
