Reply advice

I wanted to see if anyone could help me out with something. On two separate occasions (to two separate people) I've emailed and gotten replies back that they would send a signed photo right out. One request has been about three months now, and one has been about a month and I haven't seen anything. On both requests I listed my address, so I know they have all the info they need. My question is this: Should I write again and ask again, or just keep waiting? How long should I wait? Thanks. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mrw1zard {up}

I would hold-fire on the 1 month one, but I would re-email the 3 month one :wink:

Just politely say that you emailed before and was told you would get something in the mail, but nothing has arrived.

Just remember to give your name and address again, as in all probability your details have been lost :P

Hope this helps!

mrw1zard - if you don't mind my asking - which people have you emailed your requests to? i might know something about them and may be able to assist you. once again - if you don't want to reveal, no problemo!

Sorry it took me a while to reply. I emailed Louis Gossett Jr. first (about 4 months ago now I guess) and his assistant replied and said she would send something out right away, never saw anything. The second was to the band VHS or Beta. The bass player replied and said he would send something out right away as well, still nothing. And yes, I do understand patience. I have quite a lot of letters that have been out for 6 to 7 months with no replies. So here's to hoping. Thanks.

If it has been a while, I dont think it would hurt to email again and just be polite and say you were wondering if they had a chance to send it out yet. I dont think it would prevent them from sending out the original thing they promised you....it's worth a shot. Good luck!
