U.S. to U.K.

Hey, forgive me as I'm sure this question has been asked a million times.

I want to send some autograph requests over to the U.K. I plan on sending a photo for the actor/actress to sign and a self addressed envelope. From browsing, I understand that I should also enclose 2 IRC's which I can buy from my post office. Is this correct? And I can use American stamps on the initial envelope? Do you have any idea how many I should put on?

Thanks so much! :D

Yes, you are 100% correct on this first point {up}

Yes, stick American stamps on the inital envelope that you will be putting your SAE, photos, letter and IRC's in.

As for how many stamps to put on, I'm not 100% familiar with the costs. You may want to get it weighed at the post office if the envelope is going to be a bit heavy. There's a list of the cost to send letters overseas here, but I'm sure someone else can help out.

Good luck!

I think right now it is .80 from US to UK, but I'm not sure as I haven't sent out much since the postage price change. Maybe someone who has sent out more can confirm?

US -> SWEDEN is 0.84$ (up to 1 ounce)

I've memorized it since I buy american stamps to make SASEs! ;)

I'm 99% sure it's 0.84 to all european countries!

:D

Good luck!

Thanks

Thanks so much everyone!

I've hit most of the actors and actresses that I wanted to here in the states. Now I'm moving on to Europe. :D

One last question then, does anyone know how much IRC's are in American dollars?

I just bought IRC's at my local post office. Just thought I'd confirm they are in fact $1.75.

Thanks for all your help!
