SASE or IRC?

Hey everyone. I'm a newbie to the autograph business so I need a little bit of assistance. Here's my plight:

I had an idea a few months back to get my best friend autographed photos of the New Who (Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi) actors for her birthday, but I'm not quite sure how to do it. On the instructions it states that if you live overseas (I live in the US [us] ) you should send a few IRC's for the replier to buy international stamps or something, but it also said you should send an SASE. What do I do in this case?

Also, I had an idea to make the picture frame a TARDIS with the bottom four panels cut out for the pictures of the actors. I don't want the frame to be too big, so what size picture do you think would be good for this project?

Last question: could someone send me a link to high-res photos that are good for printing? Very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You can't buy IRC's in the US any more, USPS withdrew them from sale.
What you need is UK stamps on your return envelope (try eBay or the Autograph Exchange/Sale section of the forum, or you should be able to order them from Royal Mail). Or enclose paper currency to be used as return postage, our smallest note is £5.

Also bear in mind that the Docs take a while to respond, if at all. Matt Smith is up or down, and rarely signs what you send him anyway, if you do get a reply it will be a 6x4 promo card. Tennant is hit or miss, he's decent but you have to have some luck. Chris is getting better now and signing, and Capaldi was awesome, but will now be absolutely overloaded with mail requests.
