This is my problem.. I haven't got any responses from US and I'm worried that my stamps on the SASEs aren't enough! I put on stamps for 0.84 which is the cost from US -> Sweden up to 1 ounce (29 grams or something like that). The SASEs are 22.5 x 16 centimeters. Let's say they sign a photo and put it in the envelope (a photo which is the same size as envelope or a little smaller) Do you think that would be more than 29 grams?

I've got some replies from UK and on those SASEs I put on 0.6£ which is up to 40 grams I think...

But this is odd, I think it should be enough with stamps, while the "packages" I send out is: 2 x envelopes & letter, and this use to be 20 grams or less. Is a photo heavier?

I hope someone knows what I'm talking about!

And btw... Are my envelopes big enough for the photos the Lost stars use to send out?

I don't believe the envelopes would weigh more than 29g (although I could be wrong). In many instances, if you're a bit short on postage the celebrity may top up the extra postage required.

You've probably just been unlucky enough to write to those who haven't responded yet. I know how you feel. I've sent out a number of requests but haven't seen anything back from the celebrities (with enough IRC's and all).

Also, it's highly unlikely that someone at the post office would weigh each envelope to make sure that it's less than 29g ... and reject those that don't fall under this weight. Obviously there'll be some sort of leeway for this, unless it's really obvious that you haven't put enough postage on it.

I'm not 100% sure what size the photos that the Lost cast send out, but I know someone else can help you out ...
