IRCs from Canada to the US

Hey all,
I sent an 9x12 SASE from Canada to the US hoping for an autograph from Clark Gregg. I added enough postage to get it to the US, but I only included 1 IRC... is that going to be enough to allow him to send it back to me? Any tips would be appreciated so I know for next time! Thanks!

I have no idea what each IRC allows you to get, but it costs around $4-5 to send a large envelope to Canada First Class (more if you send it through customs).
Edit: Those figures are from my experience with sending from Michigan (it may be more expensive from California).

Thanks for the input! So if I send a SASE I can just put canadian stamps on it and not send IRCs then?

I am glad to be Canadian for yet another reason lol... Lots of stuff is filmed here so that's great from a autograph collecting standpoint.... Canada is the best country on earth to live in ...I think

No, but you can enclose more IRCs, or enclose $4+ and enclose a letter that let's them know what it's for.

We can't use Canadian stamps here in the United States, regardless of where you're sending it to.

Whoops my mistake, totally got confused, sorry
My answer should have been US stamps on the SASE will work

It's always a good idea to provide return postage, so for US to Canada that would be IRC's, US$ bills or US stamps.

Yep, that's exactly right. So you either enclose an SASE with 8-9 US stamps ($0.46 each), or enclose about $5 with the SASE!
