Autograph question.

I'm getting ready to send out 3 pics to Mary Costa to autograph. Is it ok to tell her how I want the pics signed or should I just ask her to sign them and be happy with what she writes? The reason I'm asking this is because 2 of the pics are for my kids and I really like some of her inscriptions she has written on other's photos.
