Glossy or Matte?

I'm getting a print for framing of a signed glossy 8x10 from my collection; I'm essentially making a preprint from an 8x10 professionally printed glossy master. This print will be framed behind common, cheap framing glass in an over the counter frame.

Do you think I'd be better off if I got the print with a glossy or matte finish?

The glass will be a bit reflective, so I'm concerned that glossy might be a bit much. But I want the signature and photo subject to stand out.

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance!

With the photo and signature printed in matte (remember, I'm talking about making a PP, not a photo to get signed), would it look too dull/washed out?

I've never made a PP before, so I honestly don't know. The only reason i use matte is because it's fingerprint resistance. So, I guess if you do a PP on glossy paper, you just have to be careful about fingerprints.
