help with German stamps

I have some german stamps and I have a question.
On the stamp there is numbers "55+25". Does this mean that this stamp`s value is 80?

Can anyone tell, because I can`t understand how many stamps do I need for one letter.

Perhaps if you edit the title of the thread to "help with German stamps" someone who can help might spot this?
We get lots of repeat questions in this forum so sometimes members don't read if they think it's something that's been answered many times already.

The value is 55. They cost 80 and 25 from the price are for a good cause!
