SASE question?

Hi,
so let's say you send out a request to a theater in NY. On my SASE, I put my address for both the return address and the receiving address. Let's say it doesn't have enough postage to get back to me, would it still get returned to me, despite it coming from a NY address, but having an Oregon return address being a different state?
