Sase question

If you're supposed to send a stamped sase do you send it in another envelope with the address that it's going too? I wanted to send to Ashley Benson and I didn't know where I was supposed to put her address if I was supposed to send a sase

Don't put her address, they could be sending it back from a different address

But then wouldn't the letter be going to myself, because the sase has my address so how would they know where the letter's going?

Self Addressed Stamped envelope, "Self Addressed" I'm pretty sure that means addressed to myself but I'm obviously confused about it which is why I posted the forum, and since apparently you know maybe you can try explaining instead of analyzing what I know and don't know?

It's pretty self explanatory. The Sase goes in the envelope that you send to them. The Sase is used by the celebrity to send something back to you.

To whom you're sending it goes on the outside envelope; if I'm writing to Willem Dafoe, his name and address is on the outside envelope. The SASE, which you want to put inside an envelope, along with your letter of request for an autograph, should have your address as the destination.

Okay because when it said what to send to her it just mentioned a sase so I didn't understand where the address was supposed to go
