Hey everyone I got a really cool poster, and wanted to get an autograph of it from an actor. I was wondering if anyone has ever sent a poster to someone before and how they went upon doing it.
Did you fold the poster up and put in into a brown SAE or do you roll it up and put it into a small tube and mail it that way?
If you mail it that way do you send money for the return of the poster?
Any help would be great! Thank you

I would mail it in a mailing tube otherwise the poster will be damaged by folding it.
I'm thinking of sending in a poster to get autographed so wondering if you did it and if yes how it went.

I would certainly use a tube to prevent any bending to the item.
It would probably cost more, but so long as it's what you want to do then I don't see the harm in sending a poster tube.
Maybe you could send a tube in a tube, so the person can send it back but that would probably cost more, maybe a small note asking to send the item back to the return address if you include it on the outside of the tube.

I've never sent a poster but I have sent some comic books I wanted to have signed. I've gotten one set back so far but it's still early. One thing to consider is that when you send something you may never see it again. I like the tube within a tube idea. Basically, you'd be sending a Self Addressed Stamped Tube. You could also consider making a small (8x10) copy of the poster and send that. Good luck.
