You're far too tolerant of people asking the same questions over and over in my humble opinion. There's big sticky posts on this forum, there's hundreds of people asking the same question, yet people don't seem to think if you do some reading you can get the answer. Added to that, common sense seems to lack... I tend to think of it like this... if I want to know postage costs or how to get stamps, I'll google the country's postal service. If I can't figure it out from there, or if the site doesn't have a translate option, then I will ask for some help somewhere. It's rare though, in this day and age, that you can't do a quick google... especially for mail between the US and the UK in either direction.kimmylee wrote:I answered your post where you said you didn't think large letter stamps were available any more.
As for my signature, when you've been around the forum as long as I have, and see the same questions asked over and over, without any effort on the poster's part to research themselves, ie wanting someone else to do all the work to provide them with an answer, you can get a little annoyed.
I also wonder sometimes because of the sheer number of new posters asking the same Q's, who never log back in or reply, if this section is being trolled or not.
Still happy to help out thoughEspecially in the cases where the OP has obviously had a try and knows a little about the UK postal rates through their own effort, as shown by them asking about large letter stamps.
The number of posts you see asking just "how many stamps from x country to y country"......No please or thank you either!
