Advice: How many stamps?

Hi all!
I am about to send out a bunch of requests, but I don't want to take them all to the post office, because I have a lot of stamps at home.
In a 9" x 12" envelope I will be putting a piece of cardstock, a LOR (on regular paper), and an SASE. How many stamps should I put on both of the envelopes?
I usually don't send out this big of envelopes so I'm not sure what to do.
