any success sending money?

Has anyone had any success sending us currency to GB in lieu of ircs? I have sent several out using this method, no replies yet but it has only been 2 1/2 months.

I tried it with a couple I sent to Canada. One 8 months ago and one 5 months ago. No response yet.

Yes, I have and it worked 
The latest I got was Sting, having sent a request to his agency in the UK. I enclosed US dollars

How much did you send (to the UK) and, overall, how often does it work? I have a few I'd like to send there. Thanks.

How often I wouldn't know but it has worked for me. I have sent euros and dollars... And for dollars I usually send 2 or 3 for small envelopes.
