Is a 9 1/2 x 14 padded flat rate sufficient for sending a mini helmet through the mail? Thanks

I have not done it but have seen a couple people in here have success sending a mini helmet through the mail.. in their photo you can see that the return envelope was just a standard patted one that was large enough to fit the helmet and the return envelope, not sure if the helmet was in a little box or not within the envelope.. I have sent books to get signed and used standard patted envelopes, but they are easy..
