Thank-you cards?

So, what do you think? After receiving a success, is thank you cards a yay or nay?
Does it make any difference to you if it's a big or a smaller celeb?
Is it good manners or are you just wasting their time by making them go through more letters?

I used to it if was a special success or if the star went above and beyond in their response.

But I had it pointed out to me that is everyone sent thank you notes, the stars fanmail would double! And a possible consequence could be the star not signing anymore. I don't want that! Not sending thank you letters will also help me keep my costs down.

Occasionally I do, but it is rare. The last one was when someone sent me two extra photos and signed the photos I sent, I think it was 2 years ago, maybe just one.
