Envelope Sizes (Need to compare!)

Seems like I have a lot of questions recently.

Oh well, this is a little question about envelopes. For my SASEs I always use envelopes which are 23 x 16cm in size (called "C5" here). I first wonder if you in US or UK have any envelopes which matches this size? The next step we have is 32 x 23cm (large ones), also wonder if the big envelopes most of you here seem to send out, are this size? Or are they A4 sheet size? These 32 x 23 are a bit larger than A4. I hope it's okay I write in centimeters.

I guess a 32 x 23cm envelope would be enough for a SASE I will send to Jorge Garcia? I've heard before that my ordinary SASEs, 23 x 16, are too small for the LOST photos.

So, are these envelopes the same standard sizes that you have?

Hi Volante,

I enclosed a 'C5' SAE to Jorge Garcia and because the photo couldn't fit, he just used his own (slightly bigger than A4) envelope. In answer to your question, yes 32x 23cm should be big enough!

Hope this helps {up}

Thank you! =)

I see. Hm, I put all my US stamps on C5s and thought I should include one of those to Jorge, but now that feels a bit wrong. I could include a bigger but then I have no stamps for it. Oh well, maybe I could include a stamped C5, the stamps could be used at least! =)

Hey Volante,

On a totally unrelated topic, how do you make a cool signature just like yours? (With the appearing words and moving parts?)

Thanks,

Paul :D

Glad you like it :)

The handwriting "Vola..." is made in Flash, a program good for animation and things like that, I'm sure you've heard of it! Then I put that together with text in a video editing program (works in most editing programs, but you need some experience) and exported it as a video file. Then, in Flash again, I opened this video file in a document and just exported it as a .gif (so I could use it as signature) =)

It's a bit hard to explain but I hope that gave you a little bit information at least!

Btw, I just posted my letter to Jorge! :D
