BIG IRC Problem

Okay, this is similar to my other thread however this is a bigger problem. The post office you buy the coupon from doesn't have to stamp it, but the office I went to stamped it where the office giving the postage is supposed to stamp it. So does this render the IRC invalid?

I'm pretty sure the coupon does have printed on it "Invalid if not stamped by Post Office".

Well according to the USPS:
"Under Universal Postal Union's regulations member countries are not required to place a control stamp or postmark on the international reply coupons that they sell. Therefore some foreign issue reply coupons which are tendered for redemption may bear the name of the issuing country (generally in French) rather than the optional control stamp or postmark."
But I'm talking about where the receiving country is supposed to stamp it to invalidate the coupon was done on accident for me by clerk. Who went behind the scenes and asked someone about them and I guess the person thought I was trying to redeem them. Either way, I'm taking them back to get new ones. I have the receipt which shows the date and the fact that I paid with a debit card, the number of IRCs, and that the coupons also show the date I bought them where the person stamped them and didn't have to.

Hi RangerKing
Basically the post office is "supposed to" stamp the IRC on the left-hand side in the box. However, if it is one of the more recent IRC's and the country of issue is shown in the box then it does not
have to be stamped as well.
However, the box on the right-hand side should only be stamped when the IRC is cashed in by the recipient.
If this is pre-stamped then it actually makes the IRC worthless
Hope this helps!

I was able to get the Post Office to get new IRCs thankfully I kept the receipt. And I also got an email from the UPU about stamped IRCs and they told me the same, that they don't haven't to be stamped. Thanks for your response(s).
