If it's a movie or a theatre play that runs for several weeks/month I tend to send out my VV request about 2-3 weeks prior the end of the filming/play since most collectors send out their requests right when the filming/play began and the celebrity will be flooded with fanmail in the first 2 weeks.

So you're saying send towards the end of filming instead of when it begins? Ive never thought of that...

Well, every collector handles his request differently. That's just how I handle my VV requests. It's atacually totally up to you. Why don't you try both (sending at the beginning and at the end) and decide later on upon your personal experiences?
