Maybe you should put a Sticky under the Collecting Tips section about how to write an Fan Letter, it would be helpful to new users!

The idea is actually pretty good and I could provide you samples of fan letters in about 10 different languages.

However, this should only be a help for new collectors since every collector has it's very own "style" of writing fan letters and some would like to keep their "style" for their eyes only.

I also agree that this is needed. I think all of us should be able to post structured and polite letters as samples for new collectors but if this is not allowed, I think only one person should do it such as Ian (TheCollector) as he sends many requests for charity all the time and is very experianced in this field
