a little help with Spanish, please

Hi!

Could spanish-speaking people here tell me please how I should begin my letter in Spanish ( in English it's Dear Mr./Ms.) and and also how to finish it (in English Yours sincerely etc.)?

Well I don't speak spanish but from what i've been told by my friend who is learning spanish this is what i know:

Dear- Estimado
Yours sincerely- Sinceramente suyo

estimado is "considred" though these are the literal meanings, they are not appropiate for letters.

Well, could you just tell me which are the correct words to use for Dear Mr./Ms. and Yours sincerely. Because tell you the truth I didn't understand it from previous posts :mrgreen:
