Reputation what does that mean?

Hello is there someone who can give me some help about reputation that is mentioned with the avator? Does that mean how many autographs a person has get or something else? thx

Reputation is like a compliment if you do something good
(help someone) or getting a success. But there can be a downside. If you are being rude to someone, then you get one of these

Reputation is exactly what has just been said ^^^, but it doesn't really matter is you have a reputation of 2 or 200 its just if people choose to give you credit for your help etc...
If you click on the word reputation it comes up with a list of all the reputation
and
that you have had, who gave them to you and why they gave them to you.
