Concerts question

Hi,

I have a question, hope you can help me...
Christina Aguilera is coming to Belgium (=where I live, I'm also going to the concert!) on the 3rd of December, and I would like to write her via venue, but my question is; when exactly should I write her? I'm a little bit scared that I will be too late or too soon... And then is Pink coming on the 6th of December to Amsterdam and I want to write her too, when do I have to write to her?

If you have any other things I should know about writing via venue, please tell me because it will be my first time..

Thank you for your help, I appreciate it a lot!!

Love Marieke

Hello Marieke,

You can try and send your letters 3 or 4 days before the shows. That way the concert arena will get your letters in good time but also not too early.

Good luck,

First of all, it is best to contact the venue and find out whether they do pass on fan mail or not. It can save you a few stamps, as not all venues do.

You should aim to have your request arrive somewhere between 2-3 days and a week before Christina or Pink performs. This way the venue will have enough time to sort mail and hold onto your request without forgetting about it so they can forward it on.

When sending VV, you should definitely include something to sign (e.g. photos) and a SASE so your photos can be returned to you.

Patrycja, Pink is apparently a good VV signer. However, I don't think I've ever seen a success from Christina :?

Good luck!

Contact the venue first to make sure they forward mail.

I have learned from experience that talking to an employer, a production manager or a receptionst a few weeks before the show helps them rememebr you and to remember to give the star your letter

Send a good 2 weeks early especially before Thanks Giving to make sure it is there on time because thanksgiving mail time is hectic.

Good Luck~

Hi ChemicalsXreacT :D

I don't think there will be a problem with Thanksgiving mail, considering marieke is in Europe and Thanksgiving is really only celebrated in the US/Canada.

Hi guys!

Thanks a lot for the responds and the help!

I followed your advice and I contacted the receptionists of both places where they will give their concert; they say that they would give it to the organisation and that it will be in the hands of the organisation...

I really hope it will work! Wish me luck, I will post the feedback on the site of course! Thanks a lot!

And Patrycja, good luck if you are going to write Christina too!

Love Marieke, Thanks again!!!

About Thanksgiving mail

My family and I usually sends little packages and cards to our family in Germany, England and Croatia, so, if others do the same, you never know
