How do you actually send out fanmail nad how long of a letter does it have to be? Does the celeb actually get the letter etc and write back, etc. I am wondering how it all goes, etc. thanks.

Hi hparbnfan4ever!
You can basically write as much as you like but try not to write too much cos celebrities receive a lot of fanmail and it takes time to read a long letter. I'd say no more than a typed page - but it's different from person to person.
Some celebs get their fanmail and some get other people to handle it for them.

Yes, most get the letters
just dont make it too long or else they wont read it
short, sweet and straight to the point.
They write back if you send a sase ( Self addressed Stamped Envelope )
MOST of the time

Hi hparbnfan4ever

You will need the following:
- Letter
- Envelopes (2) - one for your SASE/SAE and one addressed to the celebrity
- Stamps (for your SASE and other envelope)
- IRC's (if applicable - if you're sending outside of your country)
- Photos or something to sign (optional)
You will then need to write up a letter and address one envelope to you and the other to the celebrity. Stick enough stamps on the envelope addressed to the celebrity, and on your SASE if you're sending within your country. If you're sending outside of your country, do not stick stamps on your envelope but instead include IRC's with your SAE.
Put everything inside your envelope addressed to the celebrity and include photos/items to sign inside as well. Seal up the envelope and post away!!

I would recommend no longer than one page, as celebrities receive a lot of mail and do not have a lot of time to read, let alone to respond to every single letter.

Some celebrities handle mail personally, others like to let an assistant or someone else do it for them. The point of sending a SASE/SAE & IRC's is so it allows the celebrity to respond and send something back to you (i.e. an autographed photo). However, not every celebrity responds.

Hi hparbnfan4ever,
When you write your fan letter, keep it to a minimum mostly about 1 page long or even shorter because celebrities are busy people & might decide against reading a long letter.
I keep my letters extremely short & right to the point.
