So I admit I am not the most patient person waiting for an autograph to come in the mail for me. But I have a question to throw out here, what is the longest time anyone has ever waited for an autograph from a particular actor or actress? Any experiences or stories are greatly appreciated….

The longest I've waited so far has been 328 days . It was quite unexpected as I didn't think I'd hear back.

However, I have heard of people waiting over 1 or 2 years for a response

I just got back a success from Sara Paxton and it took one year and 8 months... So just be patient.....

my longest wait has been 18 months!!!!!!!!

I just got one back after a year and 4 months

Oh my word a year at least for most of you WOW.... I even chart my success on an Excel spreadsheet myself and the ones that take more than a year I highlight for future reference.

ok then I must program my patience to simmer LOL

I've only been in the autograph collecting hobby since August 2006. I have close to 30 autographs & I have 50 requests out there & my request list gets bigger all the time.

Patience is something that you got to live with in the autograph collecting hobby. The one rule of thumb is that it will take up to 3 months or more to get an autograph, it sometimes takes less than 3 months to get an autograph. But there have been reports that it took years to get a response back, it depends on how busy the celebrity is & how much fanmail they receive.

Cameron Diaz 9 months!!

The longest wait I've ever had was Sir Michael Caine - at 11 months!
