hey i just wondering . if i write a letter maybe little personaly . do u think i will get an answer? and how should i know that reply letter wasnt writen by her or his manager ?....

Hi silvester

You can write to almost any celebrity you want, but you have to understand that not everyone will respond to your request for an autograph.

The bad thing about collecting autographs TTM is that you don't know for certain who replied to your request. You will have to compare to other known authentic successes and compare autographs - they should match up fairly closely but not exactly.

Sometimes celebrities may send preprints (copy of autographs) or Autopens (where a machine signs), stamped or even secretarial autographs (someone else signs) - you should compare any response you receive with others. This may help you work out whether the celebrity has authentically signed, or someone else has replied for you.

yes is true.. but i dont want autograph. i just want a simplle answer for my letter and chat with them like i chat with my friends

. do u think that is possible ?

It's very possible but as nowandagain posted above, we don't know who reads the letters. Most celebrities read their letters but agents might read the letters, secretaries read the letter, et al. So, in reality, we really don't know who reads the letters.

aha ok thats ql... ive just wondering cuz all that peoples who have sucsesses write that they get an autograph. non of them do not get a letter reply. that sux. i hope that akon will read my letter

but hope isn't enough. so i dont know what to do

Sometimes, you do get a letter back with the autograph. I've gotten a letter back with an autograph from Norm Abrams & Rowan Atkinson.

and that rowan atkinson.. is he sayed something in letter or did u only get autograph. did he say tnx for writing or something like that ? keep in touch ?

... when i will send a letter i wil say also if she or he could email me . cuz email is a much quicker and is not so expensive. tnx anyway.

Its totaly possible ! It only depends of the celebrities ! sometimes i get little notes from them !

... do u maybe know someone who become a real friend with someone celebrities. that he started with letters and than he get reply from this person.!and become friends ?
