30-50$ ??? What are you sending ??? Isn't that too much? I don't know about you guys but it doesn't cost me that much for an autograph request.autograph hound wrote:If it's like 30-50$ & you KNOW address to work it'll be OK....over that amount *always use registered mail*
It's not a good idea to send money in the mail. If you need stamps you can always trade or buy some thru the countries post office website.

Hi Catalina,Catalina wrote:Since they don't have any IRCs in Ireland anymore, I will now mainly try to send money instead. I've done this with American Request loads of times and it worked fine. But now what do I do for Australia? Can I send money there too and how much will I send?
And what about the UK? I mean, I could send one Pound, but it's a bit weird putting a coin into the envelope, or is it? What do you think?
These are the rates from UK to Europe (Ireland)
0.44p 20g
0.64p 40g
0.83p 60g
£1.02 80g
£1.21 100g
So I recommend that you follow these- I do not think that sending money is a good idea- explain in your letter the situation and hopefully you will get a reply anyway.
If you send money though these are the rates you need for the UK.

Hi Catalina
Yes, it is possible to send money here if you want. You will have to remember to conceal it well (which I assume you do with your US requests) so it doesn't get lost or stolen.
The minimum amount you should enclose is a $5 note, as this is the smallest note available (do not send any coins in the mail). This will also be more than sufficient to cover postage costs (minimum $3.70 for a large 9x12 envelope).
