What is a SASE??

I wanna know what a SASE is and if I need it to get an autograph. So will someone tell me?
SASE stands for Self Addressed Stamped Envelope
you send them inside another envelope to the celebrity this way all the celebrity has to do is stick the picture in the envelope and send it right back. You dont need an SASE to get an autograph, but a few celebrities dont sign without them. And sometimes you will receive a reply quicker if you send an SASE. hope that helped, feel free to ask anymore questions!
