What i ask (i realize this may take time) is for someone to kind.. of.. write a thing i need to do and then i could just give it to the woman at the post office? Because i have no clue as to what to do?? I would be eternally greatful! I have no clue about sending stamps (english or amercian) and sending pics or what? some1 please help me! x

I was like that at first but it seriously is a breeze now
Here's what you need to do to:
* Buy your envelopes. For your SASE's/SAE's you will need an A4 size envelope (the celebrity can then enclose an 8 by 10 signed photo or more if the return envelope is this size. For your SAE/SASE you will need to write your address on it and then 'Please do not bend' and also 'Airmail'. Then fold it up. And put it into a smaller envelope (A5) preferably.
* Write your letter to the celebrity and then once finished, fold it and enclose it in the A5 envelope (or smaller unless you are sending a photograph). Write the address on the A5 envelope to where it is going.
* Seal your envelope with the SAE/SASE and/or IRC already in there.
* Take your envelope to the post office and state you want it to go to the US. They will ask you to put it on the scales and then they will say how much it will cost to send. Then you pay them and that is it. If you are sending IRC(s) with your request, purchase them and put them in with your letter and SAE. Then take it to the post office

Well if the UPS do not know it is going by Airmail, it will go via Surface mail which can take months to receive
You do not put any stamps on your envelopes. Thats what the IRC's are for. Then just take it to the post office

Yeah.. I have written all the letters
addressed the a5 envelopes.. to the celebrities and inside them i need to put folded A4 envelopes and put MY address on them...
Sorted.. the only thing i need to do is buy IRC's and THATS the thing that confuses me.. I daren't seal the envelopes as i am TOO confused. IRC's go on my SAE and on the one i am sending out right?

Sorry if i sound a real pain.. I never sent to outside of the UK before..

xx

Ok so then go and get the IRC's. To save 2 trips to the post office, take the envelopes with you. Then buy the IRC's. Put them in each of the envelopes and send. The IRC's are for the postage coming back to you. The celebrity's agent will exchange the IRC for postage which will basically get your autograph back to you

Oooooooooh

So all set

I buy IRC's tomorrow and add them to my SAE's
do they go in the just in the main envelope? or inside my SAE?
Ooooh I am MAJOR excited now!
I just take it to the post office and say "To America!"

And they weigh and charge and add stamps themselves?

Yeah!
*EXCITED*
Oooh! Almost forgot.. Thanks!! xx
