Hi dansgrrl4eva and welcome to Fanmail! :D

As for your questions:
* In most cases its highly recommended that you send your own photos although some celebrities have photos on their own that they sign and send out. If you plan to write to a celebrity Via Venue its even more important that you send your own photos to be signed. The chances are that the celeb will not have their own photos with them when they're filming!

* An IRC (or International Reply Coupon) is a voucher that can be used to post a standard 20 gram letter anywhere in the world. The purpose of the IRC is to be able to send someone in another country a letter, along with the cost of postage for them to reply!
You can buy them at your local post office..

* I get most of my photos from Google. Just search on the celebrities name in Google Images and pick the largest sizes. There are several websites on the internet where you can upload photos from your computer and get them printed and sent home to you. One of these are Walmart.

* I would recommend you not to write more then a page. Avoid commenting on the history or the drama of the show in your letter, and get straight to the point. Any actor who has been on a series already knows the history and the drama of their show, and while it may be very exciting to you, they have heard it all a thousand times by now. Besides, they only have time to skim through the letters, not to actually read each individual one.

Please read this topic. You'll find everything you need to know there!

Good luck with your collecting and dont hesitate to come back to me if needed!
I hope I was helpful :D {up}

And whatever you do NEVER say that you're the #1 fan. I'm pretty sure celebs have heard that alot of times.

Hi dansgrrl4eva :D

Celebrities receive hundreds or even thousands of letters per day/week/month and do not have the time to read and respond to all letters received. Sending a long letter is a big NO, as it may encourage the celebrity to skip/ignore your letter altogether due to time constraints.

It's highly recommended you keep your letters to the point and short - no more than one page. Also, make sure writing is neat and readable - no one wants to strain their eyes working out what you wrote.

Good luck!

Search through the site to see if celebs will send photos. If you see a lot of people posting that they received a photo back, you don't need to send a photo.

Thanx!!!!!!!!!!
