I sent a letter with SASE and 3 ICRs to a celeb about a little ovber a month back. About 3 days ago there was a sucess post from someone who lives just a state away from me who also sent SASE and 3 ICRSto the same celeb about 4 days AFTER I did. They have recived a reply and I still have not. Is it likely that I have done something wrong or something has happended to my letter?

Sometimes that happens, you never know with the mail sometimes and the celebrity might get one before the other, etc.

This has happens to me too. It just takes some time. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get a reply very soon!

Thanks Sharkie! Yeah that's reasured me I guess I'm just a bit impatient at the moment as I have to go back to University in a week and was hoping to get the mail before I went back

It's just the luck of the draw really. Some people are lucky to receive a response before others even though they may have sent a request before the other person. It's a bit annoying, but unfortunately it happens.

You've sent IRC's with your request and knows that the person you wrote to does respond - that's a good thing . It's just a matter of waiting now, which can be the hard part.

Your letter probably took a bit longer to get there (the post offices are unpredictable) and that may explain why he got one back and you didn't.

If the celeb does reply, then I'm sure you'll be getting one soon.
