Via Venue Question

I'm currently looking for an address for a film, but all I could find was the production company's address, not the address of where the filming is going to take place. There is no email to contact the production company (it's a small company). Should I write to them first to ask if they have a filming site address or should I directly write my fanmail to the production company in case they do forward my letter? Do you think they will actually forward my letter? Thanks for your help.

You should try with the production company because it´s possible that they pass your letter :)

You can try the address of the production company like loveryan suggested.

You could also post a request on this site for the movie in hopes that they might know where it is going to be filmed.

Good luck with your request! {up}

Hi Melongirl13,

A lot of the time a production company WILL pass on fanmail to where the actor/actress is filming. Normally there isn't a set address that you can send to, but a production company is just as good!

Like BossC said, if you haven't posted a request on the add/request a 'Via Venue' address please do! The moderators will do everything they can to help you find an address or even a possible set address, if there is one!

Edit: BossC, I like your Avie and siggie! I met them a few years back, and tried to get an autograph, but refused and said they would "later". :roll:

Thanks Larisie! {up}

I really loved their performance of Pirates of the Caribbean (I saw it on You Tube :) ). Sorry that they refused your request.

Hi melongirl13 :D

Like others have said, sending via a production company is a good idea as many will pass on mail {up}

It can be difficult tracking down an actual filming set or location, as sometimes film productions may only be filming at that specific location for only a short period of time (e.g. days) and may not have a proper address for you to write to.

Just remember to address your request c/o the production company!

Good luck!

Thank you everyone for all your help! I've already tried to post an address on the request board, but it's pretty hard to find an address. After 30 minutes of searching I found the production company, so I'll write to them. Thank you again everyone!
