what i was wanting to know, if you dont send an SASE, are chances still good that you'll get something back?

And also, Send the BIG manila envelopes right? So what, just buy 2 of them, and fold on and half and put it into Your envelope?? I'm assuming so!!

I wouldn't say that it is unlikely that you will recieve a reply if you do not include a SASE. But if you send a SASE, the chances of recieving something back are greater. But, I would say send a SAE at least. As for the envelope, it all depends on the size of the photo that you are sending. I personally prefer to send 4X6 photos and because of that, I use a 5X8 Greeting Card sized envelope. But, I know that most people send 8X10 photos and if you send them, you should use the big manilla envelopes.

Some celebs will respond even if you don't send a SASE, but not all of them.

It doesn't guarantee that you will get a response, but can sometimes speed up the process. I know some celebs that only respond if they get a SASE just because it saves them time. I would check the forum responses to the person you're wanting to write and see if any of them had sent a request without sending an SASE. However, the safest route is just to send one. As I said though, it still doesn't mean they will respond. Good luck!!

if you don't send SASE, some celebs are nice enough to provide it for you but it takes longer for a response than you providing the SASE. The envelopes are like the business envelopes, you know, yellow/orange envelopes and you can get them at any office supply stores. for me, i fold the envelope in half and in half again.
