Hi guys,

My family and I are moving in a month or two, and I was wondering how you're strategies for writing are up until you move... I have over 50 pending, and I know we are filling out change of address forms, but do you guys continue writing until the day you move, or do you hold off? Any tips will help!

That's an interesting question. I've never really thought about that. I guess I would write my new address if it's only two months away.

you should continue to put your address on the SASE's and just get your mail held for you at the post office.

Hi Courtney :D

The risk that you put your new address on your envelope now is that if you receive a quick reply from someone before you've moved, there's a possibility that it could be returned back to the celebrity because you're not at the new address yet.

Until you get a clearer moving date, put your current address on your SASE's for the time being. When you do get your moving date you could probably put your new address on your SASE's if you're writing to someone and will be moving within the next 2-3 weeks (to be on the safe side). Or, just get your requests ready but don't send them out until close to the moving date (to ensure your SASE's arrive at your new address).

Just make sure that you let the post office know to forward your mail from your old address, in case any successes come through after you've moved.

thanks soo much guys! I think what I'm going to do is send all my letters that are waiting to be sent out soon/now, with my regular address on them. then once we move, I'll start putting my new address on them! Once again, thanks for your quick responces!
