postage fr. US to Canada, buying us postage

Unread post by jonquillejaune »

ok, I'm hoping to buy American stamps for my SASE. How much does it cost to send a 9X12 envelope fr. Us to Canada using regular, dropped in a mailbox mail? What price of stamp? Does anyone know where I can buy US stamps and have them sent to Canada? Is sending US stamps in the mail fr. another country even legal? I'm hoping to avoid IRC to avoid complications :P

Also, is sending small things like bracelets acceptable practice? Can hemp be mail into the US ( I know their drug laws are very strict)

Any help would be much appreciated

here is a sticky on postage prices -http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?t=14167

this calculator can be used to find out the exact rates-
http://postcalc.usps.gov/

You will have to put canadian stamps on the outer envelope, and US stamps on your SASE.

Economy (Surface) Letter Post?
Sending Triple H a get-well-soon card :)
Hoping to start collecting autographs once I've moved.

The amount for a 9X12 envelope should be 0.90. That should cover a 8X10 photo (up to 2 ounces).

I think if you try the United States Postal Service website you can order US stamps there with your credit card. I haven't done it myself but will try later this week. Hope it works out for you and good luck. [ca]

Hey,

I personally trade Canadian stamps for US stamps as I can't buy them online (no credit card) and I've got a great friend who I've been trading with for a while...anyways, usually on my SASE I put 90cents worth of postage and that covers all of the USA. I have 87 cent and 3 cent stamps, but you can get different ones.

Best of luck getting some stamps! {thumb2}
