im thinking of sending a SASE for some celebs to use to send back things and how much would an envelope with just a 8x10 photo in an envelope cost from
Canada to the USA? A girl who lives in Canada told me it costs 93 cents. Is that true? And if anyone minds, can I buy some 93 cents stamps from anyone??!?

heres the list, I think it would be 1.78, because I dont think a 9x12 envelope would be considered standard
Sending FROM Canada TO the US
Standard Envelopes, cards or postcard up to 30g is $0.93
Standard Envelopes, cards or postcard from 31g to 50g is $1.05
Oversized or Non-Standard up to 100g is $1.78
Oversized or Non-Standard from 101g to 200g is $2.99
Oversized or Non-Standard from 201g to 500g is $5.98

Hey BABii_ANG3L,
jdp3577, is right! It will cost you $1.78 for you to send from Canada to the USA. 9x12 envelopes or anything bigger are recognized as oversized. It's best if you use 2 $0.93 cent stamps. If you can trade with someone, make sure they send you a pack of $0.93 cent stamps, those are the best for you as they are classified as "United States stamps" LOL...it comes with 6 in a pack ($5.58 for a pack of 6)!!
Good Luck!

You're welcome. I am from Canada, so I would know...whoever is telling you that it's 88 cents is wrong. The postage has just rised in early January, but we have the year to use "last years" stamps which are $0.87 cents. So, if you were only able to get a booklet of 6 $0.87 cent stamps you'd still be okay to use them! If not, the new price of them are $0.93 cents. These are the "USA" stamps.
lol Danny, you did make sense, but postage is much different when sending within Canada/receiving something back from Canada in an oversized envelope.

Hey,
Danny don't worry about it! It's totally understandable!

Just thought I'd mention that cuz I figured you probably forgot. BABii_ANG3L, I must apologize...I actually made a bit of a mistake myself...I knew there were never 88 cent USA stamps, but actually instead of what i said which was 87 cents, the last sets were 89 cents!

Mistakes happen, right?
Anyways, hope that helps!
