The usual practice when writing a request to be forwarded to the celebrity is to address your request to the celebrity themselves, but on the envelope, put the request in care of the agent/manager. You don't have to tell the manager to forward it - they know to do so :wink:

Sorry for not being too clear.

I'm sure you've read the posts about letter writing that are locked to the top of the board.

To write to someone through their manager, you would write a letter to the person you would want the autograph from. In your letter, tell them that you're a fan, ect. And finally, request the autograph.

Address both your letter and envelope to the celebrity, but on the envelope, in between the celebrity's name and address, put c/o and then the manager/agent's name. (You put the manager or agent's name only if you are writing to the celebrity's representation, not if you are writing to them directly.)

There are some good letter writing stickies at the top of this forum. You might want to take a look at them :wink:

Here's one that might answer some of your questions regarding letter writing:

So the way you would write the address....

Unread post by Rockmadman2007 »

For Example: on the envelope....

Ford Center
blah blah blah
OKlahoma City, OK 34872

Then in the letter....
Dear name of celebrity,
blah blah blah blah.....

Is this write? I just want to get it right so I don't waste time, envelopes, and stamps.

Yes, I think you understand it. Just remember to put the celebrity's name before "c/o Ford Center" on the envelope :wink:

Good luck {up}

You're welcome :D

I'm glad I could help.

Good luck with your request. {up}
Just keep in mind what dgangel said. You don't want to send your request off too early.
