Stamp question..

On my SASE I put $1 US stamp and received it back with my autograph.. But over the stamp there's another 0.63 cents (see pic) Does that mean that they added the 0.63 cents or that I was supposed to put .63 cents on it instead of a $1

Im pretty sure whoever you sent it to added .63

63 cents was added because $1 is not enough

Hmm.. but someone on the board said that 90 cents is enough for a 8x10 pic in a 9x11 envelope (that's what I received, no cardboard inside). Btw the letter is from USA and I'm in Canada

I would say that either the celebrity or their agent added an extra 63 cents for postage, which was a waste of money on their part.
90 cents or $1.00 should be fine for a 8x10 photo in a 9x11 envelope from Canada to the US.
