"The forever stamp is called that because it will cover the cost of postage no matter when it was purchased or used. Meaning, if you bought 1000 of them now at 41 cents a stamp, they could still be used in 75 years, even if the cost of postage then is $5.00."

So if u were to use these stamps to send internationally how would that work. :? Would u only put one? Normally when i'm sending to UK it's .84 so i would put like 2/3 stamps.

You would put on two forever stamps (which will be worth 41 cents each) and then put on however many one cent stamps are needed to reach the appropriate amount (which will be more than 84 cents after the postage increase).

Larger envelopes are now at least 87 cents to mail (yikes!). What used to cost 63 cents now costs 97 cents.
