Question for those in france

Unread post by The localizator »

Hi :D

I would like to know several things:

How much IRC do I have to includ in my request?
How many US stamps (and which one of them) do I have to stick on my SASE? ( if I use stamps instead IRC) in order to receive my photo??

Thanks a lot {up} :D {up}

I'm not in France, so I can't be certain, but here goes.

With both IRC's and stamps coming back from America, I would guess that the same would be needed for the UK (where I live) and for France.

So, based on what I do, I would include 2 IRC's. With postage, most of the replies I have received have an 80 cents stamp on them. So if you had US stamps to use, it would probably be a good idea to stick on 80cents worth.

you can't use US stamps on your return envelope if your return envelope is coming from outside the US. You have to either use IRC's or stamps from the country from wich the envelope is coming from

OR, as an alternative, ive heared that you can also go to the website of the postal service in the country that you are sending (in your case US postal service) ordering them online- that's when you stick those stamps to your SASE. But dont ask me about the costs and stuff- I live i the UK so I wont know.

Glad to help, Jay {up}

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that.

It sounded like all your requests were going to the US, in which case putting American stamps on the return envelope is fine. If its going to a different country, DanTheManis right - you need IRC's or stamps from that country.
