Hai :) I would really like to try for Lisa Kudrows autograph, and I was wanting to send to the set adedres (or company address) of "The Women". On imDb it says that the film in in Pre-Production, does that mean that it has been filmes, and they are dong the final bits to it or that it has not been filmed yet?

Also, when if the best tome to send to the set address of a movie? Should I send when a film is filming, or before it starts filming?

Also, should you contact the company first to ask if they send requests on to celebrities?

Pre-production means that work has begun on the film, but the film has not actually started filming itself. This may include things like location scouting, script writing etc.

You should try to find more accurate dates for the film, as IMDB may not be updated as often as you would like it to be. Some of the information may not actually be up to date at the time.

You should send while they're filming, as whomever you write to (in this case Lisa) will normally be on set and working at that time.

Normally, production companies will forward on mail. You can contact them if you wish, provided you find a suitable contact details for them.

Good luck!

Thank you :)

Also, what order do the status bits go? I mean, does it go Pre Production, then Filming, then Production, then Post Production, or in a different order? Because sometimes imDb says In Production and sometimes it says filming, and I was wondering, are they the same?

Hi Nammzi,

The status order goes as follows:

In Production (Usually means status of filming is unknown or in development and they are in the very beginning stages, such as writing the script, starting to cast for the film, etc.)

Pre-Production (Means before filming. Usually beginning to do up the sets needed and finding alternate locations other than where the majority of filming will take place, etc.)

Filming (Obviously, filming has begun, all the cast is at the location, etc.)

Post-Production (Means filming has completed and the cast has left. Directors/Producers, etc are piecing the film together and doing all the last things before the film can be picked up by a distributor, etc.)

I wish I could find my post that really explains what these all mean, but I think it might've been sent to the trash or something...:(

Hope that helps! {up}
