{wow} Weneva I go on2 a forum, I cn c the opinion/discussion window & on d left hand side der is sum info bout d author. Including reputation and date joined, but above des der r usually a pic or animation. 
My question is how do I set a pic or icon for my account? and for it to appear in the forum?:?

To add an avatar go to your Profile page. There you can either upload a picture from your own computer or via a link on the internet
