Hi this is a great site. I have been collecting for many years and have meet almost anybody you can think of. I was think of sending a celebrity a shoe to get signed. Wgat do you think of the idea and how might i send it and get it back?

Good idea, but may prove expensive.

I can think of two options.

1) Send the equivalent method of sending as a SASE almost: so if you're sending it in a packet, put another packet 'in' the shoe, with postage already payed.

2) I would not reccommend this, but the other option is to put actual money in the shoe for the celeb to buy return postage. This is risky, and probably not a good idea.

You could risk not putting return postage, but they you may never see your shoe again. Therefore option (1) seems the only viable way of doing it, and the best chance to get a success.

Yes, I think that it's interesting. But I'm not sure you'll recieve the shoe back and autographed.

a shoe? that's very interesting and awesome! well, i would first go weigh it at the post office first and then whatever that price is, then that's how much you'd pay for with the SASE!
