Need help with the ranks
Admin helped me with figuring out what the ranks were. To get to "Autograph Collector", you have to have 250 posts. What are the others to get up to moderator? Thanks!

You don't become a moderator based on your number of posts. You first PM admin & ask if you can become a junior moderator, & after you are a JM for 2 months, the moderators can decide whether or not you would make a good moderator! Hope that helped a little bit!

Hey all
Here's how it works.
Once you want to be a moderator, you have to go through the Junior Moderator system. After a 2-month stint as a Junior Mod, the moderators will vote and decide whether you get promoted, or are sent through another 2 months as a Junior Mod, after which time you'll be voted on again.
Once you become a full moderator, there are 3 different types of Moderator.
1 - Autograph Expert = An expert on autographs in general, and usually autograph experts posses a knowledge of the signing habits of celebrities in there geographic area.
2 - Moderator = A moderator is to help out around the forums, finding and moving bad posts, and helping less experienced members with questions.
3 - Moderator CP = The same as a moderator, with the exception that they have access to the fanmail.biz database, and can update the success and RTS info for address in the database. These are the ones that give the entries for the allposters.com gift certificate in the Feedback Forums.
All three of these mod types are equivalent in rank.
As far as Veterans go, they are the sites most trusted and highly respected moderators. They generally have a good deal of knowledge of how things work around here, and a good knowledge of autographs. Promotions to Veteran don't occur often, and in fact, are quite rare.
Another thing is the Site Admins. These are the members who have access to the Admin CP, which allows them to add and delete forums, ban members, etc. Promotions to this rank, have happened to only one member in the entire existance of the site, so they are quite rare. That member is TheCollector.
I hope that this answered your questions
