This....is sort of a dumb question, but....how many stamps should be on a regular 6x9 envelope?

I'm usually just sending a 4x6 picture and a cd sleeve to bands/artists. :D

it will be either .41 or .58 depending on the weight. you may want to use .58 just to be safe

for me, when i send a 6x9 envelope and inside is a 5x7 picture with another 6x9 SASE, .41 is enough. :D

Yes. The mail price is determined by who much the whole thing weighs.
one ounce: 41
two ounces: 58
three ounces:75
etc.

not exactly how many ounces that will be...but i would put .58 just in case. pretty sure it wont be more than 2 ounces. but if you wanna be sure/safe, you should bring it to the post office. also, so next time you will know how many stamps to put on.
